A suckering Native shrub, nanny berry, AKA wild raisin, produces sweet, but dry black berries with a large flat seed. Birds enjoy the fruit. Beneficial insects enjoy the fragrant white flowers. I enjoy the purple red fall color. Grows 6-10 ft tall and wide.

Viburnums are a large genus of native, non-native and cultivated shrubs. Typically creamy flowers are followed by red to black fall berries. They feed birds, pollinators, and other beneficial insects.
