Northern Gold Forsythia

This hardy forsythia reliably blooms in our climate. Outstanding golden-yellow flowers cover this sprawling, upright shrub even before leaves emerge. Bring cut branches inside in February to force blooms. Grows 6-8 (or more) ft tall. You can prune it, but it want to be a monster. Let them sprawl!
