Sometimes mistakenly called cherries because of their profuse spring flowers, lustrous foliage, and colorful tiny fruits on long stems, crabapples are a ubiquitous and beloved landscaping staple. Dolgo is a larger crabapple with white flowers and small, edible fruit ripening earlier than other apples and perfect for jellies. The canopy is upright, spreading and open, maturing at about 30 ft tall and 25 ft wide.
