Hazelberts / Hybrid Hazelnuts

A hazelnut cross selected for disease resistance and productivity, some producing clusters of 8 or more nuts. Vigorous shrubs produce sweet, oil-rich nuts in 3-5 years. Plant at least 2, spaced 4-10 ft apart for pollination, 3 or more is better. Siting them in the middle of a yard or field will make it a bit easier to get the nuts before the squirrels.
